Great books to read

A good read. I love looking at blogs and vlogs about sewing but my first love is reading books about the subject.  Some of the books I have are fairly recently purchased. One in particular, was owned by my parents 40+ years ago! But why are books still selling so well when the world seems to be digitalising everything?  I don't just think it is nostalgia. Books are great for all times of the day. No blue light scratching your eyes at 11pm when you want to read in bed.  You can prop a book up in front of you when working, popping in a bookmark when needed.  Books don't run out of charge and they certainly don't get tangled.  Yes, they can date so very quickly and if you don't look after them they can yellow and look less than attractive.  But sewing books have a charm and I love just dipping into a book for ideas about cushions, drawstring bags or a pair of pyjamas.  Some of my favourite books. What do you recommend?
