I'm no quilter but...............

I do like the idea of quilting. So I have been doing a lot of reading during lockdown about quilting and also looking online at some pretty amazing quilts (google Changi quilt and be amazed).  

So I am trying to make something pretty simple using gorgeous Tilda fabric. Tilda fabric is just lovely, beautiful patterns and complementary colours. Just adore it. So I have started and I am currently umming and arhhing about the next part ie wadding and backing.  You can see I have chosen a border fabric but it is obviously not attached yet, just laid out so I get a sense of how it might end up. But I will get to that soon enough.  

It's not perfect, I see faults in every little bit and spot areas I should have tried harder with but it will always remind me of this enforced time at home and the peace it brought me in between working at a keyboard and watching the news.
